自然素材やテクスチャーを用いながら、
「余白」「光」「存在の気配」をテーマに制作する
Mixed Media Artist YURI。
16年間の公立中学校美術教員としての経験を持ち、
これまでに2,200人以上へ美術を伝えてきました。
現在は、自然素材・テクスチャー・レジンなどの素材を通して、
目には見えない存在や、空間に漂う静けさを表現。
国内外の展覧会への出展を重ねながら、
空間そのものに作用する作品制作を展開しています。
YURI is a Japanese mixed media artist whose work explores silence, invisible presence, light, and spatial atmosphere through natural materials and layered textures.
After 16 years as a public school art teacher, guiding more than 2,200 students, she began developing her own artistic practice using lotus leaves, acrylic, texture, and resin.
Her works express quiet presence and unseen connections within space, while exploring the relationship between memory, light, and stillness.
Exhibiting both in Japan and internationally, YURI continues to create works that gently transform the atmosphere of a space
